You only have to enter info in the data fields that you want, you can leave any fields blank. Here are the data fields it currently has: DATE OF SIGHTING, TIME OF SIGHTING, NAME OF BIRD SIGHTED, HOW MANY BIRDS SIGHTED, SIGHTING LOCATION DESCRIPTION, SIGHTING ADDRESS, BIRD SIGHTING RANK, BIRD SEX, FIELD NOTES.
